Intertextuality

Inter = between
Textual = concerning a text (any media form)

Intertextuality - when a text makes references to other existing texts, using similar settings, costumes, characters etc. Particularly occurs in popular music videos.

"Incoporating, raiding and reconstructing"

Potentially nostalgic associations and new meanings - perhaps more explicitly evident in a music video than any other form (exception of advertising).
